Hi, I'm Abigail Reder. Single mother to Rosie, and founder of Rosie Red Nest, a motherhood and lifestyle blog I started in 2026. We're rebuilding our life and reclaiming our joy here in Boerne, Texas, after it changed overnight. Slowly, intentionally, and on our own terms.
As a former reading teacher, behavior therapist, and children's book author, I've spent my career in child development and education helping children thrive. Now I'm using those same skills to help Rosie thrive in an environment that's peaceful and safe. When I'm not writing, I'm an advocate for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

On July 31, 2024, I left my marriage at two months pregnant. On July 31, 2026, I published my first book.
Joy Follows is part memoir and part guided journal: the seven practices that helped me rebuild my life and find my way back to myself. Seven paths. Every one of them walked first.
I wrote it for the woman I was two years ago, and for every woman who is her right now. It is the closest I could get to reaching out a hand, helping her up, and telling her that wherever pain may lead her, joy follows. It always does.
